Thanks for a fun challenge Lynn. For today's entry in Faux Mosaic I chose to make a card for DGDaughter who will play her 1st jr. high basketball game this Thurs. & she loves basketball. She is really excited about being a starter too.
I picked up a piece of basketball paper a couple of years ago & never did anything w/ it until today. I punched the balls w/ SU 1/2" circle punch. The 3/4 was too big & even though the 1/2 was a little smaller than the balls I think it worked out well. I used dbl sided scotch tape on a piece of Kraft that emilymomto3boys sent me. Thanks Emily. It was clear embossed. I thought it would look more like a floor. I stamped the basketball first in creamy caramel then onto really rust. I used SU markers for the hoop - only orange, going gray. Her jersey number is in the corner, cuttled from the harmony alphabet set. The image is on dementionals. And of course, school colors. Good Luck from sincere salutations is on the inside along w/ a few basketballs.

Thanks for taking a look.

Oh this is so sweet. She is on a real adventure. My daughters all played basketball in middle school. It was so much fun for them and me. Good luck to her. This is wonderful....
