This sweet little card is for baby Francesca Maria Bucci who was born with complications. You can read more about her and how you can send a RAK to her parents here at Andrea Vernagus's blog if you wish to.
I combined the color challenge, sketch challenge and try new technique challenge. I used the tissue paper on the moon only. I used Helmar V2 Vellum Adhesive to attach the tissue paper to the cardstock. The rest of the image is paper pieced with cardstock and Spring Flower dsp and I used Helmar Acid Free Glue to attach the tiny pieces. The entire image is on dimensions.
For the wording, I used JustRite Stamper's Brayton Font stamped on vellum paper with black soot distress ink. Once again I used Helmar V2 Vellum Adhesive to attach the vellum. Faux stitching was done in black and black rhinestones added in the corners.

Amber, This is a beautiful card. I also went to Andrea's blog to read about Francesca. I am amazed and grateful at the outpouring of love, prayers & RAK cards as well as additions to the Blog Candy that Andrea is offering. WOW!!! I've just been a "looker" here on SCS, but I think this is my call to get involved...not only to create something, but to "pay it forward" as well. I have your blog bookmarked as well.
Guess I'd better get busy!!!!
