This is my submission for today's Inspiration Challenge - to be inspired by the beautiful glass pendants in the Etsy store, Images Under Glass. There were so many wonderful designs, it was hard to select one. In fact, my card was inspired by these two pendants: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php...ng_id=18171057 http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php...ng_id=17665242
I really liked the color combo on the first one and the poinsettias on the second.
I stamped the poinsettias with Ruby Red and the holly leaves with Always Artichoke onto Naturals White CS. I then stamped the outlines and the sentiment with Versamark and embossed with Gold EP. After embossing, I went over the colored areas with matching markers to make the color deeper and sponged a little Baja Breeze on the background. Added some red glitter brads to the corners and gold Stickles to the center of the poinsettia and popped up this panel on foam tape. I added three tabs of shimmery red ribbon to the top of the image panels and some layered Prima poinsettias to the bottom. Put some Gold Stickles on the gold brad in the center of the poinsettias to make it sparkle. Tied it all together with my favorite Figgy Pudding DP.
Thanks, Stef, for the inspiration and Julee, for the great sketch!
TFL!

Wow Carla! This is a great interpretation of both pendants! I love the colors you chose... that great paper and how you bordered your focal image in gold!
