I made this for the monthly Dirty Dozen/Dirty Dozen Alumni challenge. This month's challenge, hosted by Sharon Harnist, is to make a thankful card or gift, Thanksgiving placecard or treat holder, or Thanksgiving home decor item. And it must include a heart somewhere. Thanks for the fun challenge, Sharon!
I'll be giving my card to my mother who is hosting our family's Thanksgiving dinner this year. My heart element is the metal button in the upper left. I used the Top Note die with an oval punched out of the middle to create a frame for my main image (from "Give Thanks" by Our Daily Bread Designs). The frame is raised up on 1/4" foam squares.
Paper: SU Chocolate Chip, Canson watercolor paper, Memory Box "Twiggy" designer paper
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black; lots of Stampin' Up re-inkers and markers
Accessories: K&Co metal heart, burlap string from Pink Hedgehog Paper Crafts, Offray brown twill, Martha Stewart border punch, SU Top Note Sizzix die, aqua painter, paper piercer, Chocolate Chip marker

Oh my Amy, you've outdone yourself again! This is truly amazing! The rich warm colors in the paper go so beautifully with your watercolored image- and I LOVE how you used the Top Note to make a frame. I've got tons of those frames sitting here and needed some ideas! THanks!!

Love the oval for the focal image and the die for the border. The heart with the twine in it is a wonderful touch. Fabulous card, Amy!!
