Thanks to our hostess and our hostess' girl for a wonderful fall challenge this Friday! This is my favorite season...I love the array of colors in the autumn palette. Funny though for our Southern Hemisphere neighbors...they are coming into Spring. I'm trying to think how that feels upside down, Christmas in Spring and Easter in Summer.
I picked up this goregous vellum paper recently, can't give credit on it no name to mar the beauty. I knew I wanted to use it for my leaves. The sentiment is an Inkadinkadoo stamped onto acetate (which had been cut with the scalloped nestability) with Stazon Timber Brown. I used a piece of BG sultry peony paper for the mat. It is cuttled with the leafy branch folder and the embossing and edges distressed with ChalkBox bisque and tangerine inks. I mounted this on foam squares. Little added touches include the bronze leaf brad and some vintage German scrap in pink foil. My cardbase is PTI sweet blush.
I really try to stay limited on Friday's. It is always a challenge for me with my collage style. So please let me know if I passed the test! Have a blessed weekend...I think I'm gonna find a big old pile of leaves and go for it!

This is lovely - such a unique way to do the bg for the sentiment, and such pretty leaves. It is kind of hard to think fall - we are in the southwest with temps in the 90's yet!
