As many of you know, our friend, Mothermark, has these great Teapot Tuesday challenges and, for the most part, they intimidate the heck outta me...especially after I see her awesome recreations! LOL! Well, this Tuesday's teapot is this beautiful black and white teapot you can see on her blog here:
I HAD to participate with this one cause I love black and white cards, and I knew I had this cool dp that would be great for this oval punched flower!
I added the hint of pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month for the cards we're making in the daily challenge forums. Today's Ways to Use It challenge was to use ONE word on your card and a hint of pink. I chose the word Friendship to use it as the stem of my flower and because my friendships are so important to me. This will be another card I donate to Chemo Angels for their wonderful cause in being a friend to someone battling cancer. God bless all of you Chemo Angels!
The black on this card is the flat base with the actual opening of the card being the white and pink layers.
Thank you, Cindy, for sharing your beautiful teapots with us, and thank you, Julia, for another great challenge!

Charlene, this is perfect for these challenges! I love the colors and the one word is just right for the stem. Thanks for reminding me of our MotherMark's Tuesday teapot challenge...

Oh yes, that paper was spot on for the petals and what a great way of using the word stamp for the stem. I'd never have thought of that in a million years.
