Today's color challenge was a pretty one. We were to use Pink Pirouette, Basic Black and Whisper White.
I had purchased this Inkadinkado Rose stamp some time ago and had never inked it. My intent was to use it with my Bella Rose paper, but when I stamped it I realized it was too big to waste the dp (my thought process at least! LOL!) So.... this is the quickest, simplest card I've made in a long time, but I needed a real quick one to send to a lady in our SS class who is having serious and undiagnosed problems. Dr after Dr have not been able to tell her what's going on, so no treatment plan has been initiated. Not knowing sometimes can be worse than the diagnosis! So... this is for her to let her know we are praying earnestly for her.
Stamped the image in Archival black and colored with a combination of PP ink in the lid with a blender pen, and Copics. I used BV11, YG03, Y11 and 0 to blend. Matted on basic black, stamped sentiment right on base card, added 3 gem stones and done. There are lots of pink stickles edging and highlighting the petals but they don't show up well in the photo. In it's simplicity, I still do like it. Hope she will. I will be adding some inspirational thoughts inside.
Thanks for looking and it sure is good to be back to the challenges! I so missed them while I was gone... and I missed seeing all of your creations!
Have a great day! It is a beautiful day here in NC!

It's fabulous Grace! I love the rose stamp and it's pink ribbon ties in perfectly for today. I hope your friend at SS class gets her diagnosis very soon. I agree the waiting is the worst thing in the world as we are going the through the same at the moment with my DH. He has at least had a scan and an appointment for a treatment plan very soon depending on the outcome. I know your friend will love the card you made for her. My thoughts go out to her too.

Beautiful coloring, Grace! I love the simplicity of this card. The sentiment is lovely, and the dewdrops are just right!!
