Hello everyone!!! I have missed you all so much! I have been unable to do a card in a couple of weeks... we were on vacation. Had a great time in NE but glad to be home too!
When I saw the fold on today's TLC my first thought was the stamp set I used for my Christmas cards last year. A gift of love is an older set but a much loved one. I stamped the images on GPW with Archival Black and colored with Copics. I used an unknown marbled tan color paper, and overstamped the cross from Refuge and Strength over the star (as I had done last year for my Christmas card). I cut out the images and glued on, and matted the sentiment on Not Quite Navy.
I think it took me way too long cutting out everything to send this out in mass.... LOL! But it is a neat fold and if I had chosen to just use nesties instead of intricate cuts, it would have been much quicker! Fun card and so glad to have made a card. I think I left my mojo in Maine, but hopefully I'll get it back soon.
A big thank you to everyone who expressed that they missed me... made me feel wonderful!!!
Hope you have a great stamping day!

Hi Grace, I absolutely love your card, it's a wonderful scene. Such a great idea to overstamp the cross, that's such a great effect. Looks like you have your mojo back.

Oh WOW! This is so beautiful...I love the soft colors you chose, these fantastic images, and mostly that you superimposed the cross over the cradle. The symbology of that is so powerful!
