This week's inspiration challenge on SCS featured a Mondo dish set by Rosanna, Inc found here: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
I took inspiration from the piece using colors, textures and shapes. The DSP is My Mind's Eye Wild Asparagus Series. all other elements are from SU.
The circle shape, represents the plates in the picture and was cut using the Coluzzle Cutting System. The cups are stamped on colored CS and cut out. Some of them are paper pieced. I actually cut the handles off of the image, cut the center out and taped the handles back onto the cup piece. This proves to be a great find because I was able to *reverse* some of the cup handles! The cup panel was stamped with SU Canvas BG but I masked some of the image placements first to add dimension and texture. Some of the cups are adhered using dimensionals and the entire cup panel is on dimensionals to. The *aroma* lines are hand drawn, some of them using liquid pearls. A build A brad was added in the top right corner to accent the DSP. The design is finished off with a sentiment, window punch *straps* and some brass brads.
I had alot of fun with this one! Of course a Starbuck's gift card will be sent along with this card for a friend who just turned 49 yesterday. I think she's been 49 for a few years now. LOL!!!
Thanx for looking!

What a perfect bd card for a friend! Love the paper, panels and cups. This is a really neat card, Christine, and a little different from what you normally create. This is fabulous, girl!
