I made this card for the WT challenge, but it was really hard (photographically challenged as I am!) to get the torn vellum to show in a picture. I tried bright light, muted light, and backlit. Then I gave up, LOL!
I needed a fall themed card, and so I did some embossing resist with the fern stamp from Touch of Nature, then I sponged on ruby red, more mustard, and old olive ink. The acorns were stamped with with brown stazon. For the vellum layer, I inked the torn edge, then stamped the sentiment with olive green Stazon. The main image is embossed with Cuppa Joe's black coffee ep, and the bird's body and some of the leaves were stamped twice and popped up on dimensionals.

Oh my gosh Darla, this stopped me dead in my tracks girlfriend! It is absolutely gorrrrgeous! Thanks for explaining all the details because I sure couldn't figure it out on my own. You put lots of time and effort into this one and the outcome is spectacular! The vellum is fab and the embossing on the bird makes it look like there's feathers on it. Love it! TFS
