I made this for today's technique challenge - Acetate treat box....
The acetate I used was recycled - it was a lid from my Costco ribbon box.....
I used my Martha Stewart punch for the scallops. stitched around the edges. Made the tag, Stamped "For You" with stazon jet black on vellum, tore the papers and sewed around edges. I stamped the flower using whisper white on purely pomegranate. cut out and attached with button brads. Used four different colours of the fibers - they matched my dp very well. I braided the fibers together and attached the tag. Filled the box with buttons and fibers. This will go to a friend who is hosting a quilting retreat - it will go into the goodie box.

Patricia, this is just FABTABULOUS!!!! What a wonderful idea and I know that it will be a huge hit at your retreat!! Love the colours and the fun fibers!!!

You hot ticket!! You even SEWED! WOW! It was all I could do to get things to fit, never mind embellishing! Love the paper colors and the scallops. Makes a really pretty gift...who couldn't use more stuff?????

Absolutely perfect!!! I love the scalloped piece you added and you even did stitching which looks fantastic. The filling of buttons is a great idea and how lovely that you're giving it for the goodie box, whoever receives this is going to be very happy.
