Happy Monday everyone! It's time again where someone from my Cheers & Challenges group selects a fellow SCSer with a catchy name, what we call our CNFS ... Catchy Name Featured Stamper challenge, and make a card around their username. Each of us then sends our creation to that person.
This month Frances, aka Stampowl, selected Stamps'NCoffee (Joycelyn) for our CNFS. As a huge coffee addict myself, I love Joycelyn's username, and she's a sweetheart to boot!
The instructions for this challenge were to create a coffee themed card. Being a coffee addict you'd think I'd have tons of coffee themed stamps, but I don't have ANY! Kind of ironic, isn't it, that Stampowl, who doesn't drink coffee has lots of them, and I have none, huh?
Believe it or not, I have never made a shaker card, so I thought this particular challenge was the perfect time to give it a try. I used my Cuttlebug coffee cup mini embossing folder and paper pieced the cup with the same Figgy Puddy paper as on the bg; colored the saucer and flower with SU markers, and outlined the image with my Copic shadow marker. I used my Karen Foster snap stamps for the stamps and coffee. Coffee grounds (fresh ones, mind you--ha!) were used for the shaker and those are real coffee beans used as brads for the corners on the photocorners. I twisted my flirty ribbon and ric rac together and taped the ends behind the card.
This one's fresh brewed for you, Joycelyn, and will be coming your way!

A coffee shaker card? You'll be lucky if it makes it to Joycelyn!! The mailman may steal it due to the enticing aroma emanating from the envelope....What a clever, clever idea though. Hope it makes it, cause it would be a shame for Joycelyn not to receive this charming card. *grin*

Hope someday to join you for a real cuppa soon!!
