Did you ever have those wierd dreams that seemed so real, such as wearing only your slip to school when you were a kid? I not only had those, but I use to worry so much about messing up my school assignments, that I was kind of obsessive about knowing all the details about my assignments, and I'd have stupid dreams about really messing up my homework assignments anyway. Well, today my obsession failed me.
Every Monday, my CCEE group makes a card based on a challenge one of us has issued. Frances, aka StampOwl, challenged us to make an acetate card. I have never made an acetate card before, so I think my brain just locked on that part of the challenge assignment. I completely forgot that it was suppose to have a funny theme, and I made this Christmas snowfall scene. When I went to upload my card this morning, I saw my friends' cards and realized that I forgot the *funny* part of the assignment! Oi vay! What was I to do since I had to get ready for woik?
Crestfallen and disappointed in myself for not abiding by the challenge requirements, I took my shower and prepared to get ready for work, figuring that I just wouldn't have an upload for this Monday's challenge, and then, eureka!! an idea struck!
I remembered that my sweet friend, Tosha, aka Stamps4funinca, had sent me these fun M&M items sometime ago. Many of you know that I am a HUGE M&M addict (thus my username under my avatar). So, I quickly slapped this baby together with this M&M shaker box, my *Life is not complete without M&Ms* sentiment stamp, and the sticker sentiment. I know it isn't the best acetate card ever, but I feel better that I did fulfill the challenge requirements!
Whew! Now, off to woik!
TFL! and I'll understand if you don't comment on this nutty card! Have a great day!
