When I saw today's ways to use it challenge, to use scoring in a new way, I thought of the window cards I've seen people make. I thought I'd try for a little flower-shop-window effect with this card.
I scored lines for a little wall, tall window panes, and then scored lines at each of the scallops to make the awning appear slightly more realistic.
Then I tried water coloring grey for trim in the windows and sponged the awning with grey. So now it looks like a flower shop that needs cleaning lol!
Oh, and I wanted a flower pot out 'on the street', but I didn't have a flower pot stamp. So I used the inner part of the cup from the sketch an event set, stamped that, masked it and stamped a flower in it. It was fun to able to make do with what I had!
Thanks for the fun challenge!

So pretty. Love your flower shop! The flower pot was ingenious thinking! I saw those puppies on your blog ... how can you tear yourself away to stamp with those cuties around? LOL.

Lovely card - the awning is just great, and very inventive the way you used the scored lines for the wall. Whole load of thinking outside the box went into that card...
