This is my card created for IC109 with a beautiful picture of Pottery Barn furnishings.
I colored in my main image with markers, except for the gray shadows beneath the trunk and the green in the quilt - they were done with an aquapainter to give a more subtle effect. I used scallop scissors around the main image after circle-punching it out and matting in red. I used Versamark on the large flourish from Priceless, and set with Black Hills Gold EP/heatgun. It is very glittery IRL. I used a ticket corner punch on the red mat under the green CS. I glued the red "punch-outs" on all four corners for something alittle different. I made faux brads with my 1/8" hole punch for the corners. The red frame was created with my Cuttlebug/Sizzix bookplate die. The normal sentiment with Beary Best is "A friend is someone you can lean on." I used the ME letters in the word "someone" and placed it behind the words LEAN ON with my StampaMaJig for this card's sentiment - this was done with my black marker.
Karen, thank you for providing such a beautiful inspiration piece today. And, thank you for taking a look at my card!

Wonderful! Cool corner treatment! Great job making that sentiment - you lined it up wonderfully...I would never have guessed the 'me' part if you hadn't have told us! Thanks for playing!
