You know I've never cared for this set...it just had no versatility. It seemed no matter how I tried, everthing I did with it looked the same. This time I decided to put it with my new Dashing DP. You know I never used patterened paper on cards until SU came out with the Palette of Prints? I know, I'm really slow to change. The set still seems a bit dated after playing with all the new stuff, but this one sure looks better than any of my older samples with the same set! Oh and it works for Jen's challenge here: http://stamping-therapy.blogspot.com...ner-paper.html and Beate's weekend challenge here: Blogs at Splitcoaststampers

I did agree with you until I looked in the gallery. There's some really beautiful cards there using the stamps separately. Now I'm doing a class to show the versatility of this set (shocking, huh?) using the heavier stamp for a 'forest in snow' look, the 'overlay' stamp embossed in Egyptian Gold (gold with glitter in it) for a funkier look and then the traditional use. I think it looks great with the dashing paper - good thinking!
