I had wanted to make a patriotic Christmas card for my July submission to the Christmas Card Challenge but was stumped as to what to do. Then I saw this card: Patriotic Frosty CKM by LilLuvsStampin at Splitcoaststampers by LilLuvsStampin. BINGO! Her card was so pretty that I had to CASE it with a few changes. My Secret Sister had sent me the RWB striped ribbon and the colors matched perfectly so I used that with a red brad. I made 5 of these for the challenge. Thanks, Lil, for the wonderful card to CASE!!!

Stamps: Frosty, swirl and star from Old Glory (retired)
Paper: Real Red, Brilliant Blue, Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black, Real Red
Accessories: SU markers, RWB striped ribbon, non-SU red brad, Cuttlebug and Snowflake embossing folder, pop dots, spiral punch, 1/16" and 1/8" hole punches, white gel pen for stars on hat
I was just looking at my Frosty set the other day wishing I could use him more often. What a great idea to make a fourth of July stamp with him. TFS! Great job.

I love this! I had to laugh when I first saw it! I live where it is possible to have snow on July 4 (not quite enough to make a snowman though) so this made this card even more fun! Of course it was 90 degrees here today!! Thanks for the great card!!!

This is very patriotic, and I LOVE IT! I am sure the guys and gals in our military would really appreciate a card like this for Christmas or for them to send home for Christmas to their familes! Great idea! TFS
