For FS 09. HB's gallery is a treasure trove of lovely cards. I am somewhat drawn to mono-color cards, if that is the right description, in which there is a predominant color, then an image sponged or brayered with some contrast, as in her card, "Rusty Rooster":
The turtle stamp in Nature Prints is a similar style as the Provencial rooster and I also layered my turtle in black as she did her rooster. Got my little nieces to give me a white crayon this morning in exchange for their Easter baskets and did crayon resist for the first time, then brayered Caribbean Cool and Certainly Celery over the image. The scrapbook paper is from Creative Imaginations and is used in place of the french script on HB's card.
