Welcome to my first TLC of 2024.
I love mixed media, especially backgrounds, so the Jennifer McGuire video looked perfect to me. I have two other background to use and I will be back with another card soon.
I don't have the same inks that she used; I used Distress and felt they blended a little too much. The next I did used GinaK inks, a better result I think but I'd still like to try a couple other inks.
I had fun with this challenge and I hope you will too. Here is the link: TLC985 4 for 1 Background Magic 01/08/2024 by jkanack at Splitcoaststampers

I didn't use paste. The only one I have at the moment is bright green, so I left it out. The lunar paste on your card looks fab, mf! Thanks for getting me to watch the video. I love how the bg came out, and when I feel I want to get messy again, I'll try this a second time. Hugs.

How creative your wonderful background is! The sentiment is so true, and it might also say, "and has no limitations to fun." Hope to get started on this as soon as my morning settles down a bit.

Wonderful rich warm colours on a butterfly cold (by Irish standards) day. And oh my, the texture in that good stencilling - it looks just fantastic. Thank you for a fun and therapeutic challenge. I'm thinking I might recognise some of those flourishes as Autumn Leaves?
