My card for today's challenge of adding books or text to our card. I started out with my text paper, stamping a sentiment in the top right corner, then added scraps of dp that I thought might pass as interesting or classic book covers. I stamped a couple of encouraging sentiments along the spine of 2 books. The one on the 1st book is hard to read in the photo and says: "Look how far you've come!" Finished this off with a die cut fancy corner for a bookend. Enjoy!

Vicky, this is such a wonderful, creatively designed card! Love the classic looking book spines with the fancy book end and the script bg is just terrific!

Your dp strips not only look like books, they look like classic books. Awesome idea and Awesome job. You must have added those gold-toned strips onto the two spines you stamped -- that is the final and perfect touch to make those look like book spines. A beautiful shelf of beautiful books held up by that equally beautiful decorative book end. Fab card.

Outstanding! You have chosen such perfect papers to represent old books and adding the encouraging greetings to some of the spines is just right! Using that corner die cut for a bookend was inspired.
