Jeanne is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she is all about Halloween! That's our dessert option, and the colors are perfect for the season: Pumpkin Pie, Granny Apple Green and Gorgeous Grape.
I decided to create the word, "Boo" with my Scan 'n Cut, using two different sizes of letters and two different colors. Then I stamped, cut and Copic colored my Halloween creatures and placed them around the word. In case there was any doubt, I stamped "happy halloween" at the bottom of that panel and heat embossed for shine.
I used the "wrinkle-free distress" technique for the next layer, using three Distress Inks. Mounted on a Granny Apple Green card base, and added a few sequins.

Such a fun card. It's difficult to pick which character I love most, but surprisingly I'm leaning toward that quirky spider. Love your smooshed bg for this card and it's perfect to showcase your main panel -- looks like a cauldron full of Halloween brew. Great layout. Adorable card.

I love what you did with the background, these images and bold "BOO", Barbara! It's unexpected with these bright colors but really seems to play along SO well with your little monster theme. It sets off my imagination what it could represent - rainwashed leaves on the Halloween night sidewalk, faces smeared with messy treats... It's really a delightful card!

I have these little guys, and love them. I like your layout with the BOO over the fun bg!! Well done!
