I combined today's color challenge, with yesterday's technique challenge and made a Thanksgiving card. I embossed the white cardstock with the leaves embossing folder, scored the wood lines and then rubbed on the colors, bright buttercup, canyon clay and cocoa bean. The piece was trimmed down, placed on the espresso card base and I stamped the sentiment on a strip that was treated the same as the wood BG. The leaf and acorns were added to accent the sentiment.

I thought about doing this technique with these colors but changed my mind. Love these leaves and the way your colors turned out, Sue! Beautiful Thanksgiving card~

Wonderful Thanksgiving card, Sue. You are an expert with that bg technique and have chosen a wonderful design for your bg. The sentiment and little acorn cluster finished the card so nicely.
