I started by sponging DOX inks over my card stock - dried and covered with Amari Magic (anti-static).
I don't have much in the way of large BG stamps so chose an old PSX bamboo shoot and stamped it twice with versamark ink then embossed with clear powder. Spritzed my card with water then pressed another sheet of cardstock over it. . . . .I think I may have used TOO much water as my mono print is super light in color and the bamboo is just vaguely visible. Finished my 2 cards with assorted die cuts and a Palm tree stamp.

They both look awesome, Linda! The second one after the water always appears much lighter. Maybe Jennifer used more ink than I did? You made two great cards!

They are both lovely. I can see the bamboo on the original just fine.
The second print is pretty also-they both invoke a nice night in a tropical place.

I would quite happily sit in either of those scenes and enjoy the peace and the gentle lapping of water. The one on the right makes me think of lightning - which I enjoy!

I like both of these..very relaxing! I had a couple of rejects that I used too much water on. She did say you can always spritz it again and run it through a second time which is what I did.

I really love the colors and black and white together. Great cards.
