My last week as the November Guest Designer for the Color Challenge!
I did a bunch of colour smooshing with Oxide inks on mixed media cs. For the background, I mixed Twisted Citron and Squeezed Lemonade to try and match the lime in the challenge. And for the die cut tree, I used Evergreen Bough.
I die cut the fir tree from both my smooshed piece and from a piece of fun foam and then glued them together to give the tree more dimension.
I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment in gold, and bordered with gold miri cs.

I love all the swirls, dots, and variations your smooshing technique made. I also like the wide white border you left. It makes the focal panels really pop.

Susan, I see you love playing with Oxide inks as much as I do! And what a beauty you've created with this week's colors! The Lemon-Lime background has such an interesting variety of colors and shapes, and your tree pops out from the background to shine all on its own! It has been a pleasure having you sample with us this month!

Both the background and the tree cut from another pretty panel you've made are such pretty colors. This looks perfect bordered in the gold mirror paper.

What a gorgeous card Susan! Your color mixing for the background and the tree is perfection, and make for a wonderful CAS Christmas card. Thank you for joining us as a guest designer this month, it's been wonderful to have you join the CC team!
