What a lovely site Angie chose for this week's Inspiration Challenge! After I saw THIS pic, I knew I had the perfect image for those pumpkins.
For my fall card, w/ the image in my Misti, I stamped the pretty Quilted Pumpkin w/ Memento, colored it w/ Copics, then over stamped it w/ Versaclair. I die cut using my out of the box cutting technique to avoid cutting off the stem & leaf. This is one of favorite techniques..I like how it allows me to use smaller dies for the images but still keep the focus on the image. All of the background pieces were leftovers in my stash. The goldenrod & olive colored pieces were spritzed w/ bleach & the rust strip w/ the gold flecks is a leftover from my Gilded Rainbow tutorial. The leaf & acorn were stamped w/ the acorn Versaclair ink & die cut w/ their matching dies. I die cut the Fall word once out of rust & once out of goldenrod & double stacked them.
Thanks so much for looking. Copic colors & product links are on my blog: The Write Stuff

Julie, the photo you chose was so fun and your card is stunning! I love your quilted pumpkin! You do a wonderful job with the "out of the box" technique! I also like your double adhered word die-cut with the lighter shadow. Beautiful card!

Love this Fall card, Julie. Great idea to use the out of the box technique. It just wouldn't have been a pumpkin without the stem and leaf, would it? I do love that pumpkin.

Fun sketch, Julie, and I adore that fun pumpkin. This would be a fun way to paint up a pumpkin - I may actually try something like this. Hugz

It is a crisp day here in SE WI, I just ate an apple cider donut and am drinking hot, not iced, coffee for the first time in a long time. I'm ready for the fall weather, hope we have a true fall. Your card is perfect for helping me feel the changes happening.
