I was not able to use a Misti and it seems my results were quite different by just pressing the white paper on top of the inked gel plate.....more of a Post-Impressionistic look.

This looks like somewhere I would like to be! Warm, sunny and by the sea. I couldn't decide if the amount of "impressionism" depended on the amount of alcohol, I couldn't figure out why one of mine came out more like yours with a very clearly defined stamped image, and the one I ended up using was more blurred. No MISTI here so mine were both pressing the paper down onto my plate. I'd certainly be more than happy with a result like this.

When I first saw your card I was a bit confused to see a row of Wooden guest ARMY barracks . . .SO many I stayed at years ago looked just like that - well what a surprise to find out they are cabanas!! Now the fiery tropical sky makes sense!!
