Interesting sketch today....This card is going to a special gal that I met 5 years ago. She came to Wisconsin with her sister for a visit. Janette is one beautiful person...inside and out. This week will be her 80th birthday. Using my Ken Oliver Color Burst powder, made the bg on watercolor paper. My intention was to use this fringe loop die to make a flower....not looking good, took it apart and used it as the bottom for the fringe. Using the digi and the watered down pigment....wow are they concentrated, did the no line water coloring. Fussy cut the image and used it for the circle part of the sketch. Adhered the bg to the lattice die and made a V shape for the other panel. Stamped the sentiment and scored lines. TFL

Wow, Linda this is a beauty. The colors are amazing and love that fringed piece going across the bottom. And 80 is certainly a mark to celebrate. I am sure your friend will love this and will appreciate your thoughtfulness.

Linda, this is gorgeous, and I really love the fringe and amazing colors you've used -- such beautiful jewel tones. And the digi flower is gorgeous (so love your freestyle watercoloring). Makes me smile, and I certainly know that Janette will love it!! Hugs!
