This is for Ardyth's Featured Stamper Challenge - beechwood / Rochelle. Her gallery is so fun and creative year after year. I enjoying looking at her artwork and these beautiful cards jumped out:
I haven't used Lovely as a Tree in so long. Rochelle's card inspired me to get out my new Oxide Distress inks for the first time.
Changes - blended the colors in different order, used smaller panel, gold embossed the trees, left off the ribbon and punched sentiment piece, used a different sentiment above the trees, dry embossed the background panel, used different cardstock colors.
This is also for Lori's Falliday Challenge - Abundant Blessings. Use the word blessing on a Thanksgiving/Autumn or Christmas card. Tell about a blessing in the past month. My blessing was to have my family together recently. Two out of our three kids live in different states and everyone was able to visit on the same weekend. We celebrated an early Thanksgiving with our tradition meal, watched home movies and gave thanks for each other. They are each a blessing in my life!
Two wonderful challenges. Thank you to the hostesses, to Rochelle for sharing her artwork and to you for looking at mine.
