For todayÂ’s IC562 & Thursday's WT600, I made this Halloween card. I was inspired by all the shapes & colors of THIS picture but I made them hexagons to fit the WT Challenge.
I die cut the white layer w/ a stitched rectangle & also die cut a large hexagon toward the top. Then I used a Copic Multiliner pen & a hexagon template to draw all the different hexagons & add the faux stitching. IÂ’m not gonna lieÂ…it took a while to color in all those hexagons & shade the faux stitch lines. I was so impressed w/ a card Jennifer Dove (link is on my blog) did using faux circles, I thought why not try hexagons? The cute little witch was stamped & colored on a separate piece & I cut around her hand to lift it over the frame.
Thanks so much for looking! Closeups, the inside & Copic colors are on my blog: The Write Stuff

Ah Julie, this is amazing. So many beautiful details. The witch is so sweet (unlike what we think of most witches), and all that work on those colourful hexagons, and the faux stitching. I love it.

Such a cute card, I thought you had the perfect dp for this hexagon challenge and then read your description. It was time consuming but worth it! Very cute!
