Karen is our hostess this week and she has chosen: bermuda bay, tangerine tango, dafodil delight and for dessert: at least 5 layers. This week I passed on dessert.
On separate cs, masked off a rectangle, sponged through the birch stencil creating a sunset sky, then stamped the wonderland trees. Removed the masking, and outlined the image in black marker (leaving a white border). Die cut the birds in black cs, die cut grass but sponged this black for a better match to the trees (the cs had texture so the trees arenÂ’t as bold and solid as I like), stamped the sentiment and assembled with an additional black mat on card front.

Leave it to you, Maura, to create something as artistic and interesting as this. Love that stencil behind your trees. Perfect way to blend those colors together beautifully.

I love how soft the background is against the white trees and black silhouette trees -Striking..
