When we where young there where no computers for research, so to make our homework we had to look in the books to gather the information we needed.
And reading was one of my hobbies...still is !
After paper piercing my pattern I did some embroidery with blue thread with changing color.
The image is cut by hand into several layers and made 3D.

Fun, fun image, Niki! And beautiful stitching.
I still believe in looking some things up in books rather than the computer - there's a bigger satisfaction to finding just what you were looking for, or the facts you needed. I love this card, it really made me smile.
