Today's sketch really appealed to me. I'm not usually one for strong diagonals, but I thought they were a terrific design element in this sketch. I also liked the simplicity of the sketch. Circular panel #1 was enlarged(and moved up)to be the main focal point of the card. The flower and leaves were done on watercolor paper, then cut out and raised up on foam tape.

Wow, your flower is soooo cool!! Love the way you did the color on the petals and the center! the black and white bg elements make the flower stand out all the more! Striking!

Those diagonals in black and white really set the stage for your brilliant big bloom! Interesting how some sketches just "speak" volumes to you and POOF, a card is born!! Great water coloring - like the bright colors!

This just pops right off the page - I love the image and the beautiful contrast, plus the polka dots are wonderful! Fabulous!

Sallie I just love floral cards, and not only is this a terrific one, it also uses a great black and white color combo for the background. Your flower just pops!!! Gorgeous.
