This is for Judy's terrific "Smackin' Acetate" technique challenge.
I still haven't resucitated my distress markers so I turned to my trusty Tombow markers for this card. Actually this is not really a card, it is just the front panel and I am going to stick it in my art book and write down the details of the technique. It is so easy and super effective, I need to remember this!!
Using a piece of acetate packaging, I scribbled my lightest blue Tombow across the bottom third of the acetate, followed by a deeper blue across the middle section and finishing with the darkest blue at the top. I spritzed on some water then placed a piece of cardstock onto the acetate. I then lightly sprayed the card - it looked a bit too neat so I flicked water on it until i had the desired effect.
Once dry I stamped the image and coloured some of it in using tombow markers and a white Sharpie paint pen. This was heaps of fun to make. Thank you for looking.

That gorgeous feather image looks fantastic on your bg. The colors are so rich and vibrant. Love your descriptors of your techniques, my friend. I'll have to try this one.

I thought you might have painted with some bleach until I read your description! It doesn't look as white as my Sharpie, I rarely use it because it is too white!! I know what you mean about the bg technique, so super simple and fun I was tempted to do a bunch!!
I love your card miss Susie! It is so beautiful, that stamp is amazing and what you did to it was even more amazing mate!
You are so very talented!!!

Such a Blaze of Blues!!!!! I love all the different shades you used! And the white accents really give it Zing! Love how the background turned out. MAGNIFICENT!!! I really have to try out all this splashing around in the ink stuff you guys are doing. It's so Impressive! I don't imagine anyone would want to splash around in Staz-On though. After a while our husbands wouldn't recognize us.

Wow, Susie!! You and Francie between you, the only two cards I've checked out yet for the TLC, have ensured that I've got to give this a try. Your background is amazingly beautiful
So is the image, but, LOL, you'd already enabled me into that one, and just as well or I'd be so tempted to break my spending freeze.
