Terrific challenge today! So many options! I went with the 2nd vertical row (going left to right). My colors were old olive, daffodil delight, whisper white, and rich razzleberry. My dessert is gold shimmer mist. I know willow trees don't have flowers, but in my little world a flower can bloom in mid air! ;) First I die cut my tree and masked the trunk and misted the leaves w/gold shimmer mist. Then I computer generated my sentiment. Next I positioned my tree next to the sentiment. I have a corner punch that punches out three little tear drops, so I punched it out several times in a rich razzleberry color and made flowers out of them. I put white liquid pearls at the center of each flower, down the limbs and all over the card in general. That is where my whisper white color comes in. I colored the center of the flowers yellow w/an alcohol marker. I added a string of fallen petals across the bottom along with razzleberry and white liquid pearls. I cut a daffodil colored butterfly out on my cricut and gave it a razzleberry body. I also misted the top layer of the butterfly with gold shimmer mist, but I don't think it shows as well.
thanks for taking a peek!

Lovely card Geni. It looks like a weeping cherry to me!! Love how the petals are scattered on the ground too. I just got this die, thanks for the inspiration!

One of the things I love so much about making cards is that the images don't have to be "reality" driven - it's art. The flowers on your tree are so pretty and I luv the fallen petals!
