This card first covers the Scene in a Circle the the TLC, and I used the eagle for the Teaparty card this week for a fellow stamper, Julie Gearinger's husband, to whom we are sending our cards this week - see his story HERE
I printed up an eagle, since Dave has this on his bucket list to see one, then I cut out the 2 circles - one for the front DP and another one from Choc Chip, stamped the mountains for the BG of my scene and sponged in a sunset. Next, colored the eagle with my copics - and popped it up on dimensionals so he is a little "out of the 'box' (circle) with his wing tips. Printed the sentiment on my computer, as well as a related Scripture for the inside, sponged and attached with a button and some twine! The card seems very plain to me, but I don't think it is really a CAS, since there is quite a bit on it, but am including it in that challenge, but I will make another card for the CAS challenge tomorrow. I am also going to include for Dave some pictures I took of an eagle in the wild in Juneau, while I was on a trip to Alaska a few years back. At least he will have pictures of a real life eagle to stare at!!
Thanks for looking and have a beautiful day!!

I think it's definitely CAS, and definitely gorgeous!

Sue, this is perfect for both challenges! Your fussy cutting is impeccable and I love that background paper for a masculine card. You colored your regal eagle so beautifully too.

What a beautiful eagle, Sue - and cool that you have some photos to include for Dave to enjoy. The dimension in this adds such life and movement to the card. I was surprised to find I didn't have a stamp with the verse from Isaiah!! Not even a reference to eagles - but then, I didn't have an eagle stamp either ;-).

There have been some magnificent bald eagle cards today and yours is CERTAINLY one of them, Sue. Love the rustic, natural look of your card with the woodgrain base and the warm tones. An uplifting card that will be appreciated.
