Becky is our hostess this week, and she has given us a lovely combination, Rose Red, Mossy Meadow and Basic Black. I subbed Always Artichoke instead of the Mossy Meadow. Dessert is to use ribbon on your card.
I used my new-to-me stamp set, Pictogram Punches, and the coordinating little punch for the flowers. Most of this card is pretty self-explanatory, but I do want to share a clever trick with you. I've seen this several places online, and don't know who originated it, but whoever it was, thank you!
The white layer behind the flowers was cut using the Chalk Talk Framelits Die. To make the layer behind it, take a 3-1/2" x 2" piece of cardstock (Always Artichoke used here), and punch both ends with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch. They do not layer "perfectly," but the two shapes complement each other very nicely. For this particular design, I threaded the ribbon through the slots created by the punch, and used Dimensionals between the two layers.
This card also qualifies for last Friday's Free-For-All, Grab and Go, to use a new item that hasn't been used yet. First time with this set and the punch!
Thanks for looking, and please play along with us this week!

Kudos to you for the innovative die cut in artichoke and how excellent it compliments your framelits die cut. Awesome use of the challenge colors...LOVE the vase with the punched flowers and polka dots are always a favorite of mine. Well done!
