Hi Everyone:
This is a Teapotters tickle me week...and the challenge is to do with rain:
This was a fun card to do...I started out with the BG...sponged a sun, and sky, they are under the velum clouds( which are SU's ef, I coloured the backside of the clouds with white Copic paint, comes in a jar)
I also sponged white SU ink on the waves with a make up sponge.
I painted the ark, and fussy cut it out...
Now for the story:
Can't find Noah, He's somewhere on the ark hunting for two stowaway mosquitoes! He's looked high and low...But they are very well hid...their passports are null...their pictures were blurred, and we all know ya got to be able to see the eyes.
Sure hope he finds them before they find land...the rain has stopped and the dove has been sent out...so time is running out! Oh well....I think we all know the rest of the story....Ouch!!
Thanks for Looking:
Blessings & Hugs

Your sky is genius, your water with the swirls is the perfect touch and your Ark stamped imaged is wonderfully colored. All elements together make this a great card. Love everything you did.

What a beautiful card, Jan! I have always liked that ark image, and you sea and sky are both wonderful. It is hard to understand what role mosquitoes and flies play in creation, alright!

You've created an amazing scene here, a stormy sea with the animal friends holding onto each other to get through. It's an amazing combination of textures and techniques. Beautifully done.

Wonderful card and great story. Love the ark and the animals - can't spot those pesky mosquitos either. Hope Noah has more luck. Bet he forgot to take the fly spray with him too!
Cute story to go with this adorable card! I love all the texture. Such a sweet card. I am partial to the Noah's ark story. For years I decorated our tree in all Noah's Ark and I made all of my son's curtains and bedding from Noah's Ark material when I found out I was going to have a boy. We also painted a HUGE mural on his wall of Noah's Ark. It was so hard to paint over it when he grew out of it!
