Mary's color challenge this week is fun and cheery! I started by doing the no line stamping. Using melon mambo and stamped off once before stamping the flower. Watercolored using the ink pad. Added leaves with wild wasabi. Next I scored lines to make stripes. Using grey slate and black soot, water colored between the score lines to make the stripes. tfl

Wow, I love what you have put together for this color challenge! The gray background really serves to highlight the flower, but it also has a life of its own with those scores stripes. Beautiful!

This card is absolutely amazing! I am in awe of your watercoloring and the creative way you added the lines and stripes of color. You really should frame this card!
