This is a CAS (clean & simple) card for the Color Challenge. I donÂ’t have the exact colors, but I came pretty close using Distress inks. I masked the edges of a white panel & sponged on the inks. Then I used a stencil, sponged thru it to add a bit more interest. The image & greeting were stamped on top along with some dots across the bottom using an ink spot image. It was die cut w/ matting die, the leftover piece was sponged & added back around the main panel.
I even went for dessert My little leaf was stamped w/ Stazon onto a piece of rescued plastic packaging & colored on the back side w/ Copics, cut out then heated a little in order to curl it a bit. I added a few highlights on the colored part of the image w/ a white gel pen and white Prismacolor pencil.
Thanks so much for looking! Closeups are on my blog: The Write Stuff

Julie, this card is just gorgeous. I love the way you have done your Distress inks and the sponging over the top. Just a real beauty!! The acorn image is a real winner too; love those detailed images. Thanks for playing the challenge today.
