I have combined Sabrina’s “Ways to Use It” challenge - Paper Tole / Pop it Up and Ky’s “Mix-Ability” challenge – Faux Tile.
First job was to spray several Dylsuions Inks on a plastic bag, spritzed a bit of water onto the inks then dragged an A4 sheet of cardstock through the inks. Where the ink didn’t stick, I just dabbed the paper on it. I don’t know if it makes any difference but I just use normal 250gsm cardstock – NOT watercolour card. Dried with heatgun.
Important note: Move the plastic bag BEFORE using heatgunÂ…Â…oh thatÂ’s a story for a rainy day.
Next step was to cut a 4” strip of the inked card stock to make the faux tiles panel. I used washi tape as masking tape – that might sound a bit extravagant, but it was the worlds ugliest tape that came in a pack of 3 (the other 2 were great). I used distress ink to make the black “grout”. Randomly stamped some background images.
The remaining inked cardstock was used to make the Unity stamps girl. I stamped Heidi 3 times, stuck her on the faux tiles and then layered her skirt twice more and pockets 3 times, using 3D foam tape for the last layer.
I had heaps of fun making this – now for the clean up. Thanks for looking.

Cool card, Susie! The monochromatic effect is wonderful. And I love all the popped-up layers on Heidi .
Looking forward to trying the tiles when I get last night's mess cleaned up from the desk.
