This was an unexpected card. The number of cards I make each week is directly proportional to my sweet old dog's insomnia. At 3 in the morning I have 2 choices when she runs upstairs to get me...ignor her and deal with a grumpy, over tired husband and 2 sons the next day, or take advantage of a little extra crafting time. The choice is pretty easy. For Dolly's first 12 years of life she slept great. It has only been the last year that we hang out together in the early morning hours. I used the sketch and color chalenges for this card. The new old item for the WT473 challenge was the aqua painter which I used with the ink to "paint" the bkg flowers. I bought it years ago and I have never used it. It is hard to see in the photo, but I did use tone on tone for the F4A215 challenge. The print image is first mounted on a white bkg that was embossed with the basket weave ef. It was then attached to a white card. TFL, Francie

I'm impressed that you're capable of crafting at that hour in the morning - even if I'm awake I'm never feeling creative at that time of night! I love those blues and greens together - so pretty, and the white layering adds an extra feeling of lightness. And the flowers stamped on the script page look just great. I must admit that while I have two or three aqua-painters, I just use a wet brush and a jar of water 99.999% of the time ;-).

I sometimes go to bed at that time...NEVER ever wake by choice if I can help it at that time...I am a night owl and since my husband is the early bird HE takes care of our furbabies demand for early food and company. That being said your card is gorgeous and impressive that you could cover so many challenges in one card. I am lucky to get one done!:-) Love these colors together and your watercoloring gives such a cool effect! The flowers, flourish die cuts and pearls all cone together to make this one beautiful card! We are both middle of the night crafters...just at the other end of the night from each other!

I love that you love your dog so much - you are obviously as wonderful as he or she believes you to be. However, I can't imagine how you can even think at that hour, let alone be creative. This card is STUNNING! Such a pretty layout and gorgeous colors - LOVE this color combo. Pinned and fav'd!
