you might have to WORK to get this one! Audrie led us to a delightful blog, called 'damask love'. I seriously enjoyed have a look around, but realized that Ambers clean and crisp style and my eclectic sensibilities were not going to jive today! But I did use damask on my card...promise.
My card is busy for certain, but I like you have to slow down and linger on the words to get the meaning...kinda like me creating it. It would never make the VSN time limit (insert smile).
It is in the collage/ransom note style. I dug out stickers and rub-ons to make the words, with a few well placed stamps for impact. The egg and bacon shoe is an old Lockhart image. The horizontal WOMAN is from Starving Artist set of strong words (unmounteds) and the cloche hat is part of Dyan Reaveley's Couture for Dylusions. And t'HAT is where you'll find my damask!
The quote is from Carl Jung...and it finished on the inside: suits everyone. So true, don't you think?
Hope you're having a stupendous weekend. And that Spring is springing for all my cross NA friends! Thanks for reading my shoe card and always your comments!!!

I love how your cards are always so thoughtful and interesting. What a fun quote (yes, it is true)! Love, love, love this Susan. I feel inspired to go try another page or card right now - I always feel that way after looking at what you have done. Hugz!

Oh, Susan! This so you - living on the wild side & speaking the truth. I'm probably wearing the shoe that pinches just because it LOOKS good! Great creation here.

I do love your eclectic style, Susan, and your cards always have a very meaningful sentiment. Yes, this is very true, but I want to know why all the beautiful shoes hurt! I like the ransom note look - I've shoe-napped all your footwear and you can have it back when you share some of your fabulous mojo!
