I had seen this pretty journal at last week's inspiration site and thought I'd make an emboss resist card using the inspiration. This doesn't quite capture the feel of the card so I may have to give it another go later! It also worked well as the basis for this week's sketch challenge. I scored off panel#4 and masked over this. I then stamped my flowers in white ep....I'm on a mission to use all my stamp sets this year so I'm pulling out oldies! I then sponged over these. After removing my mask I added a hemp bow across my scored panel. I used a marker to ink up just the sentiment I wanted and punched it with a word window punch and layered this over a modern label punched piece. I love the look of this sketch and will definitely give it another go also to try it out with all the panels as I omitted #2 to complete my image panel.

This is fabulous! Your color blending is wonderful and love your masking technique. This journal is still on my mind and I may just have to do it after seeing yours!

Emboss resist is one of my favorites, and you did it beautifully. I like that you masked the cardstock to create panel 4. Gorgeous!
