This is for Color Challenge 435 - A Vanilla Sugar Crisp Wonder. I used all Tim Holtz Core-dinations papers for my peach and purple - Tattered Rose plus both Milled Lavender and Dusty Concord (which, between them, averages out to Wisteria Wonder in the skewed logic of my universe of rationalization). The flower was made by using all three sizes of the Paper Artsy Grunge Flower dies, which I then ran through three different EFs, sanded to expose the core on the raised bits, sponged the edges with Tea Dye Distress Ink and then crumpled up and unfolded to get the dimension. After I put the flower together with a brad, I swiped over parts of it with some soft shimmer mat glaze. BG stamp is Hero Arts Friends Definition, stamped in Soft Suede on Very Vanilla. Card base is PTI Kraft. The bee is from Paper Moon, as is the pattern on the flower center. The sentiment was computer generated, and I thought it was obvious how it was supposed to be read (top to bottom), but when I showed it to Mr. Wonderful he read it starting with "thine" (left to right) so I don't know. He insists that he is the last person I should go by in these matters. I hope so. Otherwise I've just made a card with a bunch of seemingly random words stuck on it. (I suppose there are far worse things I could be guilty of.)
Thanks for looking!

Rachel, you are such the dramatic story teller, and I enjoy each and every story I read! ; ) I read the sentiment correctly, btw, so maybe Mr. Wonderful just doesn't understand stamping words. I like how the word be is in the senti since you have so many bees on your card! And your grunge flower is so pretty-no matter what colors that were used~

The multi layer flower is cool with each layer a different color and texture (love the core-dinations paper)..and your bg is really fun..the words make perfect sense (let's just say Mr. W is uninformed on stamping matters...he'll learn). Great bee stamp..bzzzzzzzz

I love it and you did a great job on this. Mr. Wonderful sounds cute but we know that men just don't get it sometimes. Shakespeare would appreciate it and I surely do like it.

This is beautiful, Rachel! I really like your textured flower (and its patterned centre!), and the (can't think of the right term, negative?) sentiments on the text background look brilliant.
