This is a card I started last week when I didn't post anything and couldn't figure out how to finish it. Once again I thank my husband for his suggestion of a bow to "anchor" it! I finally purchased this stamp which I have wanted for a while and when you could finally get it as a cling stamp, the cost went down it became mine! I think maybe my side borders should have been a little wider and I sooo wanted to bling them up with SOMETHING but my dear husband said no. "Less is More" so sadly no pearls or brilliants. I can't use liquid pearls to save my soul so they weren't even an option although the most cost effective one! If ANYONE has a trick or suggestion as to how to use this product effectively I would love to know. I have practiced and practiced and PRACTICED and it did not make mine even a near second to perfect! I can get maybe 2 out of 10 the right size and they stay that way the rest blob out. I have tried thumping the back (a suggestion from a friend) and it didn't help.

Oh my goodness, your card is so beautiful. This scene brings back so many lovely memories of sitting with my grandmother at her wonderful kitchen table drinking tea and enjoying flowers from her garden sitting in a vase on a doily-covered table. For liquid pearls, I was instructed to go "straight down and straight back up" and eventually you will get the feel for it - much like driving a stick shift car. Good luck!

You card is amazingly beautiful. I cruised through your gallery again and was just astounded by your talent. You aced this one. And, yep, I was so excited when I used liquid pearls b/c my 1st one came out perfect; then, BLOB, BLOB, BLOB or different sized ones - Oh, how I try. So, good luck. I have some and will probably use them here and there, but I'm not that good at it either not to mention flower soft - OMG, that stuff hates me! LOL!!

Peggy, this is just stunning my friend! Absolutely stunning! And your husband is right. The card didn't need any bling (IMHO). The bow is a beautiful anchor. The sponging behind the doily creates a wonderful halo. It's gorgeous!

Gorgeous card. I love the pink flowers with this doily (I need to use my doily stamp more) and that bow is so pretty. I'm with you on not being able to use the liquid pearls properly. I love love adding pearls to my cards and you're right that the liquid pearls would be so much more cost effective.

Peggy, this is just gorgeous...and I agree with your husband on this one... the borders are just the right size, giving your focus more on your background image of the doily with the beautiful flowers..... Beautiful...... TFS
