For this week's free-for-all, to show something we'd do to honor our moms. My mom's been gone for twenty years, now-- Really, longer, since her last years were clouded with dementia. So. Memories, especially lovely ones, are precious. Sewing was something concrete that I could do for her.
Queen Sandy (Stampingwriter) was a hostess during the last vsn (Birds, Bees and Creepy Crawlies) in March. This was her sample card for my feathers challenge: MAR13VSNJ birds of a feather by stampingwriter at Splitcoaststampers
I rotated the dp, changed the little oval to a big circle.

Great choice of dp to go with your image, Brenda. I used to sew for my mom, too, back when I was in high school and money was tight. Thanks for helping me feel like a queen.

How lovely to celebrate a fond remembrance of your mother with this card, Brenda.

A lovely card to honor your Mother's memory. I suspect she might have done some sewing for you in her day....just a guess. Regardless, I love your sewing themed card with the old machine and the DP that features all kinds of fancy machine stitches.
