Today, we are to Pin It! So chose to be inspired by This picture on Pinterest.
I had a piece of lt blue card stock I had stamped the Chalkboard image on using the grape Memento ink. As an experiment, I stamped the Hyacinth on top w/ the black ink then used a very small acrylic paintbrush & bleach to remove the color in some areas. I was a little surprised to see that it bleached out to a vanilla color so after I die cut it, I also bleached around the outside of the black border of the stamped image.
A larger dk purple layer was added before I attached it to the die cut Quatrefoil on top of the vanilla card. I liked the tone on tone look of the two vanillas together but I added some small punched circles behind the lowest 4 quatrefoil sections and some stickles on the hyacinth. The finished card is 4.25 x 5.50.
Thanks so much for looking! My blog:The Write Stuff. Sorry! I had to delete a bunch of really old posts from my blog & this is one of them.

Really beautiful Julie! Love the bleach technique and overstamping the chalkboard is something I never would have thought to do but it's an awesome effect!!
