To create the card I started with glossy cardstock and squeezed out glitter glue products which includes Stickles. Using the airbrush tool from Perfect Paper Crafting I blew it around, applied just a drop of liquid ink over the glitter glue and blew it around again until all the colors were added. ItÂ’s best to start with a very small drop of ink and add more if needed. So I end up a very sparkly ink blotch and it was such fun to create! This card is headed to Canada and then to the UK to be on TV to show example of use for the airbrush tool.
The Perfect Layers tools from Perfect Paper Crafting was used to cut the blue borders. Use any brand craft knife or rotary cutter for cutting. A tutorial video can be found on the company site. For this project I used a rotary cutter and even though I used the 1/16” ruler the blade causes the border to be a little larger. The EK Success border was punched before attaching the sentiment and cutting the top border.
The sentiment is just what I made up and printed on the computer and that panel is popped up with foam tape.
The insert and envelope was masked off leaving an area of 5/8” to be spritzed with the airbrush using Stampin Up markers for ink.
On the main panel I stamped a crackle image from Paper Impressions using Dove Grey StazOn ink.
Pantone glossy cardstock, Stampin Up Brilliant Blue and unknown white textured and smooth cardstocks were used.
Inks are from Stampin Up and most are retired colors.
