I needed a break from sewing my DD's pointe shoes, so I stole a peek at today's sketch challenge.
Did you know that pointe shoes come unassembled? ACK!! I had no idea! The ribbon isn't even cut---I had to cut it into fourths and then sew them on the shoes. Same with the elastic. Who knew? And talk about stressful? There is only the one ribbon so I was paranoid I'd cut it wrong! And I was afraid I'd sew something wrong and that would be bad. Very bad. These shoes are not cheap! Stress.
So I took a stamping break. I feel better already.
When I was uploading though I realized the ballet theme carried over to my card. DD will be pleased
I swiped the kraft panel with my white and pink craft ink pads (DTP) and then diagonally embossed with the brick EF.
TFL!

Beautiful card! I'm sure you sew as well as you create cards...so it all came out perfect! : ) Thanks for the insight into pointe shoes...I had no idea! Love your focal point with the 3-D arrangement complete with stickpins.

One of my fav sentiments. Love the wide pink ribbon.

So sorry you are having such a stressful day sewing. Hasn't affected your card making though. Great card. The sentiment is one of my favorites.
