My computer does not always like to do what I request, so I could not watch the video, and I am not so good at reading instructions and following them. I used the lightest dye ink I could find - still a bit dark, I know. But it got so uneven on the embossed piece - I have a few extra pieces, and they are all pretty much the same. (I do not have a brayer, so just ink directly from the ink pad.) Suggestions?

I think this turned out super!! I love the hue of your ink. And it doesn't seem splotchy at all. However, if you want to try adding the ink with a soft cloth, that is another option! Just rub the cloth lightly on your ink pad, and then sort of *polish* the folder with the ink!

I think it's just right! I find this technique makes things a little uneven, and have grown to like it that way. Your scene outside the window is wonderful Dorothy!
